2015 is also the International Year of Light. The Academy of Grenoble launched a competition on this theme. A group of students of the collège (high school) Frédéric Mistral in the city of Saint Maurice l’Exil, supervised by a dynamic team of science teachers (Caroline Nowak, Pascale Feuillant, Charlotte White, Marie-Hélène Jurdi, Magali Zache, Lise Guillois, Magalie Caron, Rachel Neat) was put to work and won the contest amongst 130 schools. The Planeterrella was invited to the awards ceremony, and was shown to the scholars, disturbing the agenda of all the school !
