Here are some movies with the Planeterrella.

While following the links here after, you can view 4 very didactic videos presenting for the first the phenomenon of the polar lights, for the second the original experiment of Birkeland, the third is a discovery of the manipulation of Planeterrella of Jean Lilensten and finally, the last presents some simulations of dawns realized using Planeterrella.

David Bernard, then a PhD in the Institute of Planetology and Astrophysics of Grenoble Institute took this film in 2014. He called it "Solar Storm". It shows discharges from the star (on the right in the film) that impact the planet (left). These phenomena are obtained when the vacuum is excellent, ie below the Pascal.

David also made this time lapse in which the star rotates on itself with a magnetic axis not aligned on the rotation axis, showing the evolution of the coronal hole, and the impact of the magnetic reconnection with the planet.
